ES-SO Smart Solar Shading Workshop

The European Solar Shading Organisation (ES-SO) are holding a free seminar on 19th April 2018 which will examine key areas of interest relating to the design of low energy buildings and how solar shading contributes to energy saving, from both a scientific and a technical point of view.
The BBSA have supported ES-SO in organising this exciting event which will bring together the leading international experts in the solar shading industry for two hours. Solar shading is an important industry in Europe that is valued in excess of £15bn per annum and employs 400,000 people.
Thought-provoking presentations, with opportunity for discussion, will take place surrounding topics such as mitigation of overheating in buildings, solar shading & Passive House building designs and life cycle assessment, amongst several others.
